Peru's heavy rain emergencies: 50 deaths, 7,223 victims, and over 45,000 affected people

Since January 1, heavy rains in Peru have left 50 dead, 48 injured, 5 missing people, as well as 7,223 victims and more than 45,000 affected citizens in various regions, National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) Chief Carlos Yañez reported on Monday evening.
